Beth Sherman

Beth Sherman's novella in flash, How to Get There from Here, will be published by Ad Hoc Fiction in July 2026. She is a Submissions Editor at Smokelong Quarterly and her work has appeared in more than 200 publications, including The New York Times, Newsday, Portland Review, Smokelong, Fictive Dream, 100 Word Story, and Bending Genres. Her stories are included in Best Microfictions 2024 and 2026 and Best Small Fictions 2025. She is also a multiple Pushcart and Best of the Net nominee. She received a PhD in English from the CUNY Graduate Center and an MFA from Queens College.
