Beth Sherman

Beth Sherman's novella-in-flash, How to Get There from Here, will be published by Ad Hoc Fiction in July 2026. She is a Submissions Editor at Smokelong Quarterly and her work has appeared in more than 250 publications, including The New York Times, Newsday, Portland Review, Smokelong, Fictive Dream, 100 Word Story, and Bending Genres. Her stories are included in Best Microfictions 2024 and 2026 and Best Small Fictions 2025 and she's a multiple Pushcart and Best of the Net nominee. The author of five mystery novels, Sherman received a PhD in English from the CUNY Graduate Center and an MFA from Queens College.
